The Program
Eating Disorder Program
The treatment staff at Rader Eating Disorder Programs has been providing high-quality clinical programs for over 20 years. We specialize in the treatment of eating and related disorders. It is our mission to help save the lives of those suffering from eating disorders such as Anorexia, Bulimia or Compulsive Overeating. The primary purpose of Rader Eating Disorder Programs is to treat the dysfunctional behavior in a supportive environment. An eating disorder program treatment staff of caring and experienced professionals, many who are recovering themselves, assist the affected individual and their family in developing a life long program for recovery. We recognize the complexity of the disorder and understand the medical, psychological, physical, and nutritional aspects of eating disorders. Our treatment approach is centered around the special needs of each individual and we are completely committed to help individuals achieve recovery.
The treatment team consists of experienced professionals including, physicians, psychiatrists, psychologists, family counselors, dietitians, exercise counselors, and nurses who assist the individual and family through the program. Through the utilization of a multi-disciplinary approach, the individuals learn to love and respect themselves and to form positive relationships with their family.
Eating Disorder Treatment Process
Rader Programs helps you design the eating disorder treatment that works best for your life. We offer a variety of programs tailored to your individual needs. Our inpatient eating disorder facility accommodates patients with 24-hour care and an interdisciplinary staff specialized in eating disorder treatment. Our daycare sessions cater to patients who can function within their usual home environment but are looking for a structured daily program for eating disorder treatment. The continuing care program offers professionally supervised care to patients who have progressed through inpatient or daycare and need a little extra help structuring their new, healthier lifestyle. The outpatient facility allows minimal disruption to daily life, using one nightly meeting a week to provide additional support to those integrating an eating disorder treatment plan for Anorexia, Bulimia or Compulsive Overeating into their lives beyond the clinic. Our family program also assists patients in restructuring and maintaining strong family relationships through weekend sessions with significant others.
Upon admission to the program, a complete one on one assessment process begins. The assessments include:
